The Shivah: Kosher Edition - Completely remastered with all-new graphics and music!

Russell Stone is a Jewish rabbi at a struggling synagogue in New York City. He is a devout man with a problem - membership is down and he lacks the funds to keep his synagogue open. Things are looking very bleak, and he has grown progressively more cynical and bitter with the passage of time.

Just as he is on the verge of quitting, he receives some intriguing news. An estranged member of his congregation has died and left the rabbi a significant amount of money. A blessing? Or the start of something far more sinister? Can Rabbi Stone just accept the money and move on, or will his conscience get the better of him? Step into his shoes as he travels all over Manhattan in his attempt to uncover the truth.

Features rabbinical conversation methods, a unique method of fighting, a haunting score, and three different endings depending on your moral choices.

Pros and cons of Shivah app for iPhone and iPad

Shivah app good for

A very cool point&click. Interesting story, excellent voices actors and pretty 2D graphisms. Plus, its cheap, so dont hesitate to give it a try and maybe then play at the other (excellent) wadjet eye games !
We say that the shortest story are the best. May be! The game is so great! (And just a little bit too short, but it really worth the price.) The story is nice, the voices and the graphics are awesome! Good job!
A very nice short adventure game. The controls work great on the iPad. Highly recommended!
A fantastic adventure game with a terrific story dealing with subject matter you dont find in most games nowadays. The redone graphics are superb and help to showcase an excellent atmosphere. If you like adventure games and love a great story you have to give this game a shot!
Great game for 90s Adventure fans. Quality production and a great story, give it a shot if you need a good arm-chair adventure.
This is an excellent, rare game that asks big questions about God, faith, and morality. The game is short, but still worth checking out for the unique narrative. Awesome voice overs and atmospheric music. This isnt your average mind numbing game.

Some bad moments

The game is too short for the price, and having to repeat too much of the dialogue until you get it right is just plain frustrating. Nothing earth-shattering in the dialogue, either.
Buy this game, you will not be sorry... Though I might recommend turning the speech off.
This is the second Wadjet Eye game Ive played. To my understanding, this was the first game released. I enjoyed it thoroughly and can see replay value in it. There are multiple endings according to your in-game decisions. The first game I played was Gemini Rue. Shivah is not as epic, but if you like Gemini Rue then you will like this game as well.
After initial login to rabbis computer, password wont work anymore which makes search for information impossible. Stuck after talking to wife abt Joe DeMarco as well as anything else in warehouse besides email and ledger. Could you at least help with the login. Problem?
The game is very easy to get stuck and is very short. Few of the logic puzzles have large gaps.
I like puzzle games that make you think but this one is irritating. Slow pace and figuring out next steps is ambiguous at points.
